SKYVUW Ltd is owned and operated by David Napier.

David has been involved in the Geospatial industry for over 45 years, starting as a Navigator on an aerial survey aircrew in 1974 and ending up as a senior in the Sales and Marketing Department of NZ Aerial Mapping Ltd (NZAM).

David started SKYVUW in 2008 to build on his experience in the industry and provide consultancy services to clients who needed a non biased approach to many geospatial problems. SKYVUW has provided advice and support to a myriad of companies and received many accolades for the services.

Since early 2015, SKYVUW has been building a strong reputation for creating working orthophotography from the scans of historical films which are becoming available in New Zealand through the Crown Aerial Film Scanning Project. The service is better described here, so do read on.
